[/spoiler] [spoiler title=”First meeting of WELEAD with the African Francophone women in the Tri-State area, 11/11. ” open=”0″ style=”1″]Palms Solutions organized its first WELEAD forum, inviting African Francophone women interested in the active participation of the advancement of the women and girls in their community. The forum among the 34 participants from 6 Francophone countries lead to the identification of specific problems they are facing as members of the Francophone Diaspora.   The extensive discussions helped shape WELEAD’s objectives and lead to the creation of working groups taking on issues related to education, immigration, as well as networking within and outside of their communities.[/spoiler] [spoiler title=”Meeting with Wives of the African Ambassadors at the United Nations (WCI/Palms Solutions) 11/8. ” open=”0″ style=”1″]Wives of African Ambassadors, next to their involvement in the “African First Lady Initiative”, also are committed to the WELEAD goals, to strengthen the technical and organizational capacities of the African Francophone women to excel financially, academically and socially. See pictures[/spoiler] [spoiler title=”Women Campaign International Gala in New York 11/3. ” open=”0″ style=”1″]As a consultant to Women Campaign International (WCI), the nonprofit organization supporting the advancement and empowerment of women across the globe, Mr. Kouassi participated in the WCI Gala Dinner.  Guest of honor at this meeting was Cherrie Blair, wife of former British Prime Minister and Founder of the “Cherrie Blair Foundation,” an organization striving to strengthen the capacity of women entrepreneurs in countries where they lack equal opportunities.
