Palms Solutions Community Management and Training responsibilities include ongoing collaboration with the community leaders to ensure that their constituents needs are identified and met through a variety of experiences including training, in place assignments, coaching, development planning, mentoring, and seminar programs that target specific development needs tailored to each community.
Since 2010, Palms Solutions has been working in partnership with educational institutions such Penn, Drexel and Temple university, as well as other well established local professional organizations.
To date, Palms Solutions has assisted 310 constituents, and seven organizations with issues ranging from immigration concerns, to 501(c)3 status recognition, as well as civic rights and social responsibilities. Our working tools include:
- Technical assistance including but not limited to fiscal management, fiscal conduit services and management training/support.
- Assistance in board recruitment and development designed to result in strong, governing boards of directors fully engaged in fulfilling the vision and mission of the organizations served; and
- Regularly scheduled seminars and workshops on basic nonprofit management and fiduciary understanding. As of today, Palms Solutions is proud of its accomplishment in helping four immigrants communities organized as grassroots organizations, and of which three have been now granted the 501c3 status.
