- May 13 For the fourth year in a row, Mandela Washington Fellows from the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) will convene in Washington, DC at the conclusion of their 6-week Academic and Leadership Institutes to participate in the Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit. This year we will welcome a cohort of 1,000 of Africa’s most promising young change makers.
