September 9, PACONP 2016 joins the city of Phildelphia to celebrate the kickoff of Philadelphia International Unity Cup Spearheaded by Mayor Kenney. The Philadelphia African cup of Nations for Peace(PACONP), has decided to suspend its 2016 edition in order to fully mobilize the community in support The Mayor’s Philadelphia international Unity Cup initiative. We are very grateful that Mayor Kenney’s Unity Cup vision is in perfect harmony with the driven forces that guided PACONP five years ago, Our event, which began with four African teams in 2012, is now reaching the cap of 18 teams for the 2016. PACONP is proud to be part of the organizing committee, as well as partner in the initiative, and therefore all constituents to be in support of Philadelphia International Unity Cup.

August 15, Palms Solutions is launching in Yaounde, its international grassroots Soccer diplomacy starting with the country of Cameroon. The organization is committed to use the universal passion of soccer to transcend linguistic, sociocultural differences, and generational gaps misunderstanding, to bring people together. June 22, 2016 Palms Solutions invited to be part of the The United Nation’s first-ever High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment which publication would be released in September 2016 The panel will focus on the economic empowerment of women in a critical extreme poverty environment.
- May 3rd, 2016 Palms Solutions represented the African Francophone Diaspora at The World Bank, to discuss the best ways to enhance Trade & Competitiveness in Sub-Saharan Africa. The conference under the theme “African Diaspora Business Dialogue: Convening Stakeholders for Entrepreneurship, Investments, SME and Skills Development in Africa” was organized in partnership with the African Development Bank Group and U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The conference is presided by the President of Gabon, HE Ali Bongo Ondimba, other speakers included, Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, France; Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, Executive Director, UNFPA; Dr. Luiz Loures, Deputy Executive Director, UNAIDS.
- April 29-30, 2016 Palms Solutions was invited at Global Health Catalyst Summit at Harvard Medical School, to discuss ways by which partnerships with the African Diaspora, to enhance impact of cancer preventive programs in Africa could be strengthened.
- April 27, 2016 to August 15, 2016 Palms Solutions invited in Europe to a series of meetings focussing on the importance on Cultural Diplomacy as a tool for Peace resolution. The starting point of these events was with the International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in Germany “The Time is Now: Utilising Cultural Diplomacy to Unite the World’s Cultures Before Hard Power takes the Lead” Berlin, May 12th- 15th.

The theme of the meeting was on “Advocacy in Global Processes: Towards Implementing the Recommendations of the AU/ECA High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows (IFF) from Africa”.
